Well I've done the paypal IPN deal with my Premi account that was already open....the transaction pops up in Paypal and I get my email but no evidence of the orders are showing up in the "transaction" part of the back office.
Help?

Dude I have tried everything I can think of to make this work...it just won't show anything in transactions on the forum store back office.

This is related with the shipping problem if the totals do not match it is not counted as a valid transaction.

Ok now the shipping is working but still no communication back from Paypal to update the forum records. I know the feature works because I just did a free item to myself and it shows in transactions.

Well I have tried everything I can think of to make this work and I have made no progress. The transactions are going to Paypal now with the correct shipping so that's one good thing. Just no records showing up back on the forum.
This is such a headache...

Got the store ipn set to 755 and created the paypal log file but nothgin has changed!
I just went in to the paypal_logs.txt file I created and tried to change the permissions but it won't let me do it.... all I get is this... [a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive].
any more steps?

Hmm check this setting in your PayPal account In your PayPal.com Profile for IPN you need to enter the path to the store's IPN file also displayed on the SMF's store settings page and make sure IPN is turned on. Example: http://www.yourforum.com/storeipn.phpIf this still does not work I have something we can try later tonight. |

Well I had a few guys make a transaction and it worked....but then later someone else made a transaction and it did not work. I made no changes in between orders.
I looked at my email and saw all of the Verified IPN emails from us playing around with everything. Some show the complete orders and some show this:
INVALID
cmd=_notify-validate
This is in fact what showed up on the last orders and refunds that I did that did not work with the stores transaction list.
