I've recently been made aware of a problem when trying to access images contained in my installation of SMF Gallery Pro. I'm not sure if this is a specfic Gallery problem, an SMF problem or a wider php or hosting set up issue. When the thumbnail is clicked, the following 406 is displayed; "Not Acceptable An appropriate representation of the requested resource /smf/index.php could not be found on this server." eg. http://www.shoppingtvbabes.co.uk/smf/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=1079Can anyone help?

I am really having problems with this, I just cannot get the gallery to work any more. I don't know what has been changed to cause this problem now. The Apache error logs don't show anything.
Is there anything I can do to fix this?

well since these are the only results, i'll ask here. i am getting this error, everything about the gallery works except actually showing the image. any more thoughts besides pointing me to smf for a fix that doesn't work? i have someone who want the classifieds and the gallery pro and they won't work.

I have the same issue and creating the .htaccess as described does not work. So I've contacted my host to see what they have to say about it.
One of the mentioned topics said, that phpinfo would show whether or not it is installed. The result did not show anything.

Hi all. I to have the same 406 error, on gallery lite though (excuse my ignorance if this is in the wrong forum). works ok on my server when I use SMF 2.0 RC1 but not on SMF 1.1.8 .I have tried all the suggestions to no avail. Would like to upgrade to Pro but want to solve this issue first. Thanks in advance

Tried the mod_security post? If that does not work contact your host to disable mod_Security for your site.
