Hi,

Should there be a .htaccess file within the gallery folder in order to prevent someone from accessing the gallery folder directly from a browser. ie. site.com/gallery  ??

I thought maybe a .htaccess with
<Files *>
   Order Deny,Allow
   Deny from all
   Allow from localhost
</Files>


But that doesnt seem to work.

You can just make an index.php or index.htm file to override the directory listing
