How about the option to allow the full size photo appear on its own page with a black background, i think this would add a lot more appeal. I have bought the pro version but am still trying to integrate coppermine to compare both. This along with the exif info would give much more appeal to say, a photo group like i am constructing at the moment.
If you really wanted to go the whole hog, a menubar inside the gallery instead of just links would add to the appeal to the more demanding customers

Moved from perfect coppermine integration (still installed but deactivated) for smf gallery's simplicity, I find the need for at least two buttons which drive to next and previous photo, urgent. And yes it would be great if it was a popup with a black page and a simple 3p white (or selectable color) border of a centered photo.
