There's an option to turn on RSS feed icon for categories which will give you a feed for each category.

Do not have a global feed at this time would make a good feature request for 3.0

Have also XML feeds for different parts of the gallery

I can probably have it support RSS as well.

Cool got that working. We've started using Twitterfeed to push material to a facebook fan page from our dive club forum. Its a way of advertising ourselves that seems to work and the bright young things in the club can get the latest forum stuff without having to log in.

I'll have a think about related requests for version 3 and post in the related topic.

Have updated the xml feeds for SMF Gallery Pro 3.0 to also support RSS as passed type which will allow you to get recent items.

Hi

I have set up RC3 Beta2 on a test gallery.
Can you give me an example of how I can use this with Twitterfeed please?

I thought RSS feed is based on text format only? Gallery is picture format.

The RSS feed gives you a link back to the image in the gallery listing.

You can use the http://www.smfhacks.com/index.php/topic,143.0.html RSS/XML guide

To support RSS add type=rss to the url there are some bugs that I found and have fixed for the next update though.

Thanks, type=rss did the trick. Using Twitterfeed the feed validates but the feed published on Facebook gives an error which I guess is one of the bugs you were referring to. Looking forward to the next beta.
