SMF: 1.1.4
Portal: TinyPortal 0.93 I think (The latest)
SMF Store: 1.2

Okay, so originally I had the store set so when they made a purchase for a Select membership on my site, they had to fill in their Real Name, and Forum Name.

The two optional fields were set to text, and that was their titles: Real Name, Forum Name.

And they worked great.

Well, recently I realized that their Real Name will show up in the PayPal transaction, and their Forum Name will show up in the Transactions page in the Store Configuration.  So, seeing as I also needed them to fill in their Car Info, and their Decal Colour Choice, I changed the two optional fields.

I left the first one as a text field, renaming it to Car Year/Model/Colour, and changed the second to a drop down menu, for the Decal Choice, with 10 options (the max):

Please Choose
Black
White
Blue
Yellow
Silver
Gunmetal
Sparkling Pink (Sold Out)
Chrome
Red

Well, ever since I changed the two optional fields, they have stopped working.  I did the sandbox testing for hours, well, maybe only 2 and a half hours.  In the end, I even reverted back to the way it originally was, Real Name and Forum Name text fields, and they still do not work.

Would it have anything to do with the Field being named Car Year/Model/Colour (with the /'s) or when they respond, the majority of people use SS/SC when describing their car.  Can you have a / in your answer?

That still doesn't explain why the drop down menu option isn't working.

Any help would be appreciated.  I will be watching this post, and have them sent to my BlackBerry, so if you need any information to help find the solution, I can answer ASAP.

Thank you

Are the custom fields displayed on the product/item page?

If they are not please provide a link to the page where they are not showing.

It could be do to the / I would try changing maybe to a , instead.

What happens when you revert to the original field names? Are the transactions appearing inside the Store's transactions area?

Yes the custom fields are displayed.

I also did to the , instead of the / but it still didn't work

Like I said, after the NEW fields didn't work, I tried to revert to the old ones that originally DID work, but now they don't either.

And no, when I check the transactions page, they no longer appear there either

Are you getting any failed notifications in your email?

I would try under payment modules to "Disable IPN price check security" and see if that makes a difference in sandbox mode.

I do know that now since I have tried to edit everything and put it in Sandbox mode, I am getting emails saying "INVALID iPN DETECTED" and the body of the email says:

INVALID
 cmd=_notify-validate

I never got that before I tried to use it in sandbox mode this morning

You shouldn't get the email if you have sandbox enabled.
Attached a changed storeipn.php file

Make sure file permission is at least 755

I am no longer in Sandbox mode.  And I only got that email AFTER I got OUT of Sandbox mode.

Like I said before, I put it in to Sandbox mode, couldn't do what I needed to do, and reverted it back to the way it originally was when it WAS working.

I will install the new storeipn, and see what happens

What does the body of the email say exactly copied and paste please. Because that has the request information.

hmm haven't seen that happen before only in the sandbox mode.

Does it happen for all items or just this item?

I had no idea it was item specific.  I know I would get it if I typed www.mysite.com/community/storeipn.php right now in my address bar
