Author Topic: Purchase when using a Coupon doesn't show up in transactions  (Read 4687 times)

I'm doing the final testing before going live with my store,  I have one other issue.

When I make a purchase and use a coupon the purchase goes though paypal and the payment is received, but I'm having some issue

1. the transaction doesn't show up in the transaction on my website
2. it also doens't deduct the products from inventory.
3. it doesn't show up in the [my order] under the user that purchase the items.
4. doesn't remove the items from the Shopping Cart when the purchase is complete.

NOTE:  When I refunded the testing transactions they showed up,  curious that they didn't show up until then.

1,2,3 are all related. You might have got an invalid IPN notice email. Check under Payment Modules that "Disable IPN price check security" is set since you are using a custom tax mode on PayPal.

it is checked and it is still doing it.    I have place orders both though Paypal sandbox and by using my own CC.    they both did the same thing.

I did get an invalid IPN email

Hmm, Does this just happen for coupon purchases? Does it work without the use of the coupon in the sandbox?

it only does is when using a coupon,  for both sandbox and regular paypal purchases.
