Hello,

I've just installed the Gallery Lite hack and seems to be working wonderful, until I go to make an Admin change or add an image to the Gallery.  I am using Joomla bridged with SMF 1.1RC3 and every time I go to make a change in the admin panel or add an image, the gallery loads a new page but takes me to the stand alone SMF version, but not the bridged version where Joomla runs SMF inside it.

How do I fix this problem?  Does it have to do with the Gallery Path and Gallery URL in the admin section?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks!

Sincerely,
Bryce W.

Hello,

Thanks for the quick response and action taken to help me with my problem.

Two noticable problems have incurred...

1.  When I uninstalled the previous version and deleted it, the "Gallery" link that is viewable at the top of the menu in the default theme remains there and has placed a second one up there.  So now there are two visiable links available for the Gallery that I cannot figure out how to remove.

2.  I uploaded a picture and it worked, without redirecting me to the stand-alone SMF, however, there is a new problem. It now doesn't show the thumbnail in the category, nor am I able to open up the image to view within the gallery.  I've tried uploading for different images and all do the same thing.

I appreciate the assistance!  I must say, WOW, I'm impressed by the fast response!  Another question, is this website relatively new to being online?

Sincerely,
Bryce W.

1. You would need to edit index.template.php seems like it was installed twice.

2. Check your file paths for the gallery.

Hello,

OK... I think I can resolve this now, but my question is... What should the gallery url and path be?

I've tried changing them to what I thought was correct but seems they are still not working!  This is what I've currently got for my path and url...

Gallery URL: http://www.okwaho.com/inside/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=99999999&action=gallery
Gallery Path: /home/okwaho/public_html/tribal/gallery/

The gallery path points to the Stand Alone version of SMF while the gallery url points directly to the Joomla and SMF 1.1RC3 bridged gallery url.  Are these correct for my website? The path should point towards the stand alone I would be, because that's the core files to the SMF, right?

Does this make sense?

Thanks again for your prompt responses!

Sincerely,
Bryce W.

P.S.  Do you have a first name I can call you by?
