Pay on Pickup / Over the Phone / Direct Deposit?

Is there any way (in addition or as an alternative to paypal) to do a "pay on pickup", "over the phone" or "direct deposit" option that would submit the order via email or pm to the store owner?

Kind of like a mini order form to that would request more buyer information like shipping address & contact number.
Direct Deposit details could be sent via an Auto responder or even a PM.

Do you think this could fly Mr. Hacks?

Mr.Hacks, is there any progress on alternative payment methods? Is just that quite a few of my customers are having problems with PayPal. I think part of it is that they're an older Genre that would like the option to deal with a human over the phone and many are more comfortable with a direct deposit to a bank account rather than signing up with paypal and going through verification (takes days) to remove a spending limit.

The option to not require a paypal account that can be setup in paypal preferences doesn't work for a customer who has a previous transaction, it notes if the card has been used previously and then requires them to sign up.

I've had 3 customers in a row go through the same scenario.

Using a MOTO (Money Order/Telephone Order) transaction through my eftpos machine is a far better and easier way.
