I recently purchased and installed the SMF Store v1.2.4 with an existing forum running SMF v1.1.5.  The store software is working well with the forum software and the install was quick and easy, including a change to make it work with my custom theme.  I had my first customer tonight and found the confirmation email to be less than I was hoping for.  The email sender was listed as "boiserid@host107.hostmonster.com" which happens to be the username of the admin account on the server (you don't get to select it, it is assigned) along with the machine number and host name.  The message content included the item description but did not include the quantity purchased.  These issue bring about two questions:

1) Is it possible to set a value for the "email sender"?  Specifically, I'm looking for something like "Boise Riders " or "BRN Store".

2) Is it possible to add additional information such as item quantity, unit price, shipping, tax and total price to the confirmation email?

1. Good idea I will add a from name setting for that in the next update.


2. I can add the qty. The issue with the unit price,shipping, and tax is that I send over the raw total to the payment processor and not the price,shipping cost for each individual item.

The detailed pricing information isn't as important (to me) as the quantity information so that would be a helpful add.

And thanks for adding a "from" field to the list of next release items.

I have a question as well. When the buyers get a Email confirmation about their purchase it comes from "Nobody". Can this be changed?

Also did I miss the part where we can edit the "Message Content"?

Fixed the from name "Nobody" for the next update.


The text for the confirmation email is store in
Themes/default/languages/Store.english.php

is there a way to change the email address itself without having to wait for the update? this kind of looks unprofessional for the email to be coming from "nobody@yourhostingcompany" etc, etc.... thanks in advance!
