ok thanks

what i am after is a 'to do' task section. I run a math help forum, and i would like to be able to assign my members homework tasks, although it could be any task really. The admin assigns a task to a member or group of members with a name field, a description, due date, priority and a field to mark their progress on it or feedback comments. They could log into their task section, perhaps via thier profile or a link like to the PM section, and they would see the list of tasks they have been assigned, by number and date due, and then they can reply to the task by selecting to mark it as started, complete, having difficulty...some feilds like that.

Each member is only privvy to their own task list only and cannot delete any tasks, but the administrator can view all tasks assigned and their prorgess, ie, if they have been marked as complete, (perhaps they have a strikethroug or smt when completed) read comments/feedback given. THe admin can manage all the task list and can delete tasks, and can view them via date, member assigned, progress...

if you are familiar with the tiki-wiki, they have a system in there, which i am using for the moment, but i would much prefer to include it into the SMF forum which is the heart of my site.

I would also like to be able to control the language of it, so that i can mess with the names of things, and some basic css styling of course. it would be used in a custom them, so instructions on how to code it beyond default as well woudl be appreciated (although usually i can figure that out for myself without too much difficulty)

If anybody is interested in this, i would be very grateful, i am sure it would have a market beyond my needs, but i am willing to pay for its development too, assuming i can afford it

thanks for your time in looking at this.
