sorry if this is the wrong section for my question

i recently purchased SMF Classifieds and picked up the add-on Trader System

Everything worked great after some great help here, but i have decided that Classifieds is not right for my site

i cannot seem to uninstall either mod however.  not a big deal with the classifieds, because i can pretty much hide them

but the trader system still shows up in profiles even after a)turning it off and b) uninstalling it

any help appreciated  thx

What happens when you try to uninstall the mods?

it goes through the uninstall process and looks like everything is good...

... but the mods are still there

Have the file permissions been changed? The files need to be writable and maybe directories as well to uninstall an SMF modification.
