Can anyone tell me if this mod has a subscription option?

I want to use it to manage payments for advertising on my site and need the option for reminders and subscription renewals.

Thanks,

Dom

I'm looking for a store add-on to SMF that will let me sell subscriptions to a digital publication.  Once a customer has purchased a copy, they should be able to download again any number of times.  Minor publication updates should be free. Major updates cost extra, and reset the subscription period.  Old major versions of the publication will be kept for one year after they were obsoleted by the new version.

I need to run an external process once their order is accepted because their user name needs to be stamped on the first page of the PDF, and stored as a separate document.  I wrote a bash script to implement the stamp procedure.  I need a way to launch the script from the store.  I'll write a cron job to delete old personalized PDFs every hour.

Every time there is a minor/major update, all subscribers should be notified by email.  They need a way to select whether they want to receive all notifications.  Default should be "yes" to major and minor updates.

Can the above be done with the existing product? If not, are you interested in implementing these features?  If so, when might they be ready?  I'd like the store operational by the first week of November.

Thanks,

Mike

Most of those features would need to be built and require custom coding.

Subscriptions for billing are not currently supported  a subscription system would need to be built.  The store currently supports downloads that expires after a period time, download limit, an option to change a user's membergroup and have that group expire after a period of days.

A version system for digital products would also need to be created. The store does not have a version number of products or have the option to charge based on a version number.

Would also need to add the option to call a script/url on successful payment.

The emailing of new updates would be complex. A message/subject system would need to be created, a mail scheduler to send out the email in small chunks to current owners of that file.

This would most likely take a four to five weeks to develop based on my current schedule and would charge about $600 to $800 to get it done.
