Hi, thanks again for your work! So, i stated this in the other thread but thought I would post here as it seems the appropriate forum. When a forum post is auto generated from the gallery it sends the thumbnail to the post with the images original size entered in the img bbcode, so you end up with a 2000 pixel wide (or whatever) thumbnail in the post. Could I get some assistance with this please? I guess this might be a problem on my end? Am i missing a setting? Thank you!

And as a feature request: Medium sized images in the auto generated post, and maybe even option to spit that exif with it too!!! Wink

I love this gallery, great work!  Smiley

OK, obviously not of importance among all the other work to be done, but I would like to resolve this. I have done a workaround by installing an auto image resizer for the board and having it send fullsize pics to the post, but now the fact it sends the dimension data in the bbcode even for fullsize to the post overrides the image resizer. ARRRRGH. Please, can i just be told what php to edit to stop the dimension data from getting entered in the bbcode?

Please.

Thank you.

I will now start looking on my own.

Found the line in gallery.php and resolved the issue.

Code:
'body' => '[b]' . $title . "[/b]\n\n[img]" . $modSettings['gallery_url']  . $extrafolder . $postimg . "[/img]$showpostlink\n\n$description",

Now my fullsize image goes to post without dimension data and nCode image resizer resizes to set dimension.  Smiley

EXIF barfing to post would be nice some day.  Wink

EDIT2: Oh sorry, i will edit my posts for updates in future instead of new posts.

Hmm. Might be a good idea to take out that image height width in the bbccode forgot what was the reason I added there.

Exif data in post sounds good too.
