That may work I just do not think it would retain those posts counts if it does fix totals and stats from Forum Maintianece

I take it that function gos through all posts counting them and changing the post count totals for members? In that case a bit of tinkering with the relevant function in the SMF source would fix that too (to look through and count the entries in smf_gallery_comments  - although that is not to be recommended to those who don't know what they are doing.

For a quick and dirty fix though it does work:-)

Is there any official comment count block available or in the pipeline.
Ideally what I'm looking for is an individual comment count for each member, maybe under the post count that appears in the forum or as a block.
