Well, its not really a theme based question so ill post it here.

Ive seen in your staff and links mod youll have the staff.template.php and it calls the main template with a function. Could you please explain a bit more about it? (The main board.template and your new staff.template) and what they do?

Like how to call them? Like how to load each template and subtemplates of a theme?

Yes, like you have done with the links and staff pages. Instead of having the forum showing you have a "blank page"(but it has links/staff info on) and it still keeps the wrapper, css, permissions etc
