i was in the process of re-organizing one of my stores and realized it would be very handy to have a few of these features.

pretty sure the data already exists, but with several hundred products now i need to put some of the data to better use

1. total sales for each item shown in the Product List, even nicer if product list could be sorted on that field
2. among the choices for products shown on front page of store could be Best Sellers
    b) or even better - a way to create a category to contain x number of best selling items
3. ability to export the product list to a .csv file
4. ability to edit the sort value for products directly from the product list and/or the edit item screen
5. indicator in product list indicating items that are hidden

just ran into this tonight

i needed to search for transactions from a single member to confirm past purchases

the search feature uses e-mail address - but the e-mail for paypal transcactions may be different than the members forum e-mail.

for paypal purchase the transaction is recorded using the paypal email addy - free purchases the transactions record the member's forum e-mail

so when i searched for the member's transactions (based off of the e-mail addy i knew) it appeared as if he had only purchased free items from my store - when in fact he had purchased a significant $$ amount, also.

would it not make more sense to search transactions by his forum login name?

fortunately i was able to use the download function and sort it out that way

thx,
Bar
