Hi,

Is there a way to remove the Reserve Price from an auction when you are using as a bidding auction with a BIN?

EX:

Starting price $13.00 BIN $20.00

It shows the reserve has not been met and I would like for this to be removed when a member has not specifically added a reserve price.

There is also \\\ showing up in the description of the auctions all over the place. Is there a way to stop this?

There are two types of listings in SMF Classifieds normal listings and auction listings.

If you enable auction listings by default there is no just buy it now.
In your case you are looking for just a normal listings.

When you edit the category make sure "Only auction Listings" is not checked

If you have auctions enabled you can uncheck that as well.

Now when go inside a category there should be just the option of "Add Listing" if you see "Add Auction"  then it needs to be disabled by editing the category.

Updated your post.
Do you have a link to a post that has // Need to see what it is doing.

So you are looking for an option to have no reserve price. It shouldn't ask for reserveprice if it is set to zero. Or you want to just remove that option from the auction page.

I was trying to edit the post before anyone answered lol !!   I got the listing part -Thanks

On the other here is what the description looks like:

Description: It\\\'s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

This unique Christmas horse shoe is just right for hanging on the wall or over the door to Welcome all who enter for the Holidays.

We started with a used horseshoe straight from the farrier, cleaned it up, and painted it green (front and back). We added a hanging strap of red and green ribbon and decorated the horseshoe with Christmas stickers. There are five packages of different shapes, size and color and four tiny silver and gold Christmas tree ornaments. The main colors are green, red, silver and gold.

The horseshoe measures apprx 4.5\\\" x 5\\\" and weighs apprx 8 oz.. It hangs about 7\\\" from the tip of the ribbon strap to the bottom of the horseshoe.

Shipping price quoted is for insured USPS mail delivery.

It seems that everytime you try and edit it adds more of the \\\

On the reserve part this is what the member has set:

Starting Price   $13.00
Reserve Price   0.00 (They have tried just 0 and it does the same thing as well as leaving it blank)
Buy It Now price  $15.00
Shipping Price: $6.50

This is what the auction shows:

Current bid:$13.00 0 Bids
Plus $6.50 for shipping
Reserve NOT Met

Buy It Now
$15.00

If I go into settings I can uncheck this but it would remove it for all members listing and there is folks who may want to add a reserve listing price

Thanks in advance
