Files in downloads disappear- WHY!

I have the downloads mod installed, worked just fine, now some of the downloadable files have disappeared and I cant re upload them.
When I try and re upload the files nothing happens, the page re loads like the files were uploaded, but the file size still has 0kb and when you try and download the file you get the not found error page.

What happened to the downloads that worked??

Check that settings are correct for the download path.

If the file is more than 2mb check with settings of php on the server that it is set to allow files larger than 2mb to be uploaded.

Paths were and are correct... The files were there for about a week, and now they are gone.

Not sure where the php setting is you are talking about, the files were larger than 2mb and up for over a week then gone.


It appears the the files are converted when uploading to file names like "1_06_12_08_3_50_11" with no extension, only 3 of the original 7 remain.
