paypal os0, os1 and custom fields

What mods would I need to put back for os0 and os1 handling to show up on the paypal cart? I have a custom html page that I had used prior to using v1.3 of the store that would do this.
I would generate something like this with the page after concat. the form fields. Should be able to do a similar thing for the custom fields.
I was thinking that if I just set the item title to os0, and then any other custom fields to os1 it should be fine; as long as the total for each isn't longer than 200 characters. Anything over 200 characters would be truncated.

We changed from passing os1 and os0 to paypal due to PayPal limitations on custom fields and to make the Store more portable to future payment processors. Os1,Os2 have been completely removed from the Store and we use our own internal custom fields system.
We are planning to add shortly to the shopping cart on the store custom field descriptions of items added to the cart.
We now only pass the total checkout value to paypal along withe basket.
