I'd like to have another person/website re-sell official membership to my site.  I thought I would be able to do this by generating a bunch of coupon codes and then having him give those out.  But I'm now seeing that I am not able to generate a code that covers 100% of the purchase price.  It still forces the customer to go through paypal and paypal doesn't let you buy a product for $0.

How. . . would you suggest I do this?

That is a bug. I never thought about coupons giving the item away for free.

Oh.  Hmm.  Is this something you can "fix"?

I'm itching to go "live" with my store.  Do you have a rough ETA on when the next update will be?

I don't think this is working.  Your Version: 1.3.3 Latest Version: 1.3.3

I created a coupon for $10 and then purchased something for $5 and even after I applied the code and the total came to $0. . . it still insisted on taking me to pay-pal to pay my $0.   Huh

And is it possible to have the remaining balance of $5 for the coupon show up as store credit that they can use towards another purchase?

For the coupon purchase is it a single item purchase or a full shopping cart purchase?

Hmm. Store Credit is an interesting idea. Will see what I can do.

I tested it with a full shopping cart option.

My goal is to re-sell a membership to my forum which will give them access to the members only section and a one time credit to the store that they can use to purchase anything they want.  I kind of thought thats what the store would do but I was a bit ignorant at the time in the wording and functionality.   Undecided

Ideally there would be an indicator of some sort as they enter the store to show them how much credit they have left.

It would also be nice if they could enter in their coupon/credit code before they start shopping.

Thank you very much for working with me on these changes btw.  Great support.

Store's credits would be a long time away since that would require a whole new system built to support it.

Would be very cool though.  You could re-sell gift certificates etc.

I went "live" with my store and one of the products I sold was "membership".  All was going well for the first 6 or 7 orders and then all of a sudden the number of members went to "1".  Me.   Huh  I quickly ran through and manually added all the people that had ordered that membership product but. . . that can't be good.  :-(  Can you help me get that sorted?

All the members went to one? What does that mean?
