I purchased the store within the last month.  Everything was going just peachy, until....

I noticed in my SMF admin panel that I don't have the latest version.  Read the post on that and have yet to do it since I have to retrieve my license key.  So, I don't know if that upgrade will take care of the issues I've been having but, here they go:

1.  Add to Shopping Cart and Buy Now buttons appear randomly throughout the product line.  Only one button appears, not both, and it's totally random which one appears.

2.  My 2nd Tier pricing does not show up on the item or in the shopping cart.

3.  Quantities can only be deleted on the check-out, but not added.

Any direction for help on these issues would be greatly appreciated.

Are you running SMF 1.1 or 2.0?  If 2.0:

2) v1.3.3 does fix some tier issues, though I'm not sure if it'll fix yours.
3) I'd be interested to see your add/delete problem in thes hopping cart.  You should just click "change quantity" and then input whatever number you want.  It isn't really a matter of adding or deleting.

1. The one thing that I can think of that would cause that would be if you have a paypal address entered on the item itself. Which would then not allow the item to be added to cart since that could require a user making multiple payments to different people via paypal.


Reforwarded the license information. Please install the latest version and see if that fixes the issues.

Sorry, I totally forgot to put my versions in the post:
1.3.2 SMF store and SMF 1.1.8 Forum. 

I received the license info and will perform the upgrade shortly, thank you very much for your quick response.

Currently, in the shopping cart, there is no "Change Quantity" option, only "Delete".  We'll see what happens after I do the upgrade.

I understand what you're saying about the PayPal address.  I have one Club Store which is has sub-catagories which are like sub-stores and one does have items with a different PayPal address.  I'll make everything global to one address and see if that helps.  Good thinking.

Ok, did the upgrade to 1.3.3

Removing the second PayPal address cured the Buy Now button appearing with those items associated with it. (Should both the Add to Cart and Buy Now buttons appear on each item?)

However:

The 2nd tier info is still not appearing.

There is still no "Change Quantity" option in the shopping cart.  Just [Delete].

Also, I noticed that when I set a member group price, the strike-out goes through the member pirce and the regular price is charged instead.

Now what?

The item needs to have item can have qty checked if order for the qty option's to appear.

The tier pricing only appears on the view item page, and on the change qty page at this time.

As ocurrs so often, the problem is simple and it's something the user is overlooking.  All this time I thought the "can have" option was a limit on how many items could be purchased!

It worked like a charm.
