Downloads Pro v1.0.5

I have enabled the credits system again, but it isn't deducting any credits when a file is downloaded.

I also noticed that the "Buy credits" option has vanished from the screen even though the credits are enabled in the config.

Do you have any credit packages defined? If not the buy credits option will not show.

Aha! No I don't have any packages defined, as I don;t understand that part of the program...... I do have "Treasury" v2.34 installed, for users to make donations to the website, but I have no idea how to link that into Downloads Pro!

Can you explain in detail how this all works please?

To link them would require some custom coding to either give x amount of credits when a donation is received.

The credit package system allows packages to be created and when bought the credits are added to the users account
You can do like
Bronze 100 credits
Silver 250 Credits
Gold 500 credits
And just a price level for each tier.

Ah right, now I think I'm eventually gettimg my head round the credit system! Thanks!

Just one question, since I'm in the UK I have the credits system setup in GB Pounds sterling..... What happens if a users buys credits, but pays in US Dollars? I know Paypal will handle that and give me the current exchange rate, but how will Downloads Pro cope with that?

It should work fine as the total received is the same in dollars which is passed back to the downloads system.
