How do others handle combine shipping?

The few appliance parts I have in our store at http://appliancejunk.com/forums/index.php?action=store can all be shipped priority mail for $6.95

So I have $6.95 shipping on each item and then I have in Admin>Shipping Conditions> so anything between $0.00 and $1000.00 is also $6.95 shipping.

This works out find now with the small light weight items I have in the store, but what options do I have if I add a motor that might be 15 lbs and cost $20.00 to ship?

I'm running into this exact same problem...I requested a zipcode feature, but would be nice to control it by weight or amount as well..

Ran into this issue tonight with a seller need a feature to determine if shipping is charged or not on a item.  I have replacement parts for things I'm selling and they are light and would like no shipping to be charged.  Possible?

Should be possible right now. Just set require shipping unchecked when add/edit item and shipping price to zero

Can't do that due to multiple items listed and never know which item they are going to decide to buy more than 1 of...

Any luck with this?  People are complaining regarding shipping cost.  I have no way to edit this.

Anything new on this?  I'm having trouble with quite a few orders when someone buys multiple items of different things.

I'm having a really hard time with shipping options myself.
I plan on using flat rate boxes. The price on those varies depending on the size of the box. It would be nice to be able to set shipping conditions based on weight or mass, so the price could change based on what size box will be needed.
Also, it would be nice to have shipping prices changed based on country, as shipping outside of the US is much more expensive than within. Unless there is a way to do this, I will have to add an item for these members to purchase that would be purely a higher shipping price.

I could probably do something by weight for shipping.

By Country/State would little more difficult since we would need to ask the user what state/country they are shipping to before checkout.
Which would require a select field on checkout if the shopping cart enabled. If the shopping cart is disabled then a select field for country would need to be shown on main product display page.

Maybe have a pulldown menu on the checkout page with shipping options? That way people could just select international shipping? Or expedited shipping?
