I want to have the function "Resize images" to work. If a member uploads a picture @ 2mb the picture that shows should not be more than the 100kb i specified.

That I can't do. Resizing is by width and height not be filesize. You can't set what the filesize of an image is.

Not that I know of. You can't take a 2mb picture and resize to 100kb without either loosing the quality and the size.

ok, im not stupid..
I want to

1: When a user uploads a picture of say 4000*3000 pixls the uploaded picture should be resized to 600*400 pixels and 100kb

2: The picture uploaded should be shown as 600*400 and not 4000*3000 pixels..

Ofcourse the picture loses qualite, and size.. thats what i WANT

What else is the function "Resize Images if too large" for?

It already resizes the image with the latest version. Filesize is not something I can control of the resized image.
