I just purchased newsletter pro and installed it.
From purchase to install everything went great!

I have been using the smf newsletter once a month to let our members know about our giveaways.

I would like to put up a sign up forum to start collecting emails and I see how to go about doing just that with your software.

What happens when one of our members signs up through the forum I create. Will they get a email when I use the SMF newsletters and a email when I use the Newsletter Pro?

I would like to avoid sending out double emails to our members, yet send out email to none members that sign using the forum I created with Newsletter Pro.

Thanks,

First you would create a list to store the signups. Such as create new list called Signup Ups.

Then you would tie that list to the signup form builder.

For SMF 1.1.x you can load that list using SMF's newsletter. The system will automaticlly remove any duplicates if there are any. It will compare the list of signups plus any members that you select on the newsletter creation page in SMF.
