I'm looking for something that would allow us to replace the membership sign up and renewal for our organization. Here is what we currently use http://www.scalemasters.org/MembershipRenewal1.html

Would SMF store be good for this? Or would it be just a little overboard for what little we have?  If so, does anyone have a suggestion as to something that might work?

That old site is going away.  www.usscalemasters.org is replacing it.  That membership "form" is very limited and it is really a bad design.  The hosting provider limits what can be used. Only what the provide.

The store can be used to sell memberships which can also be tied to membergroups inside SMF.
