I'm not having any luck getting anything to post. When I first installed the mod and added an rss feed I checked the forum it was set to post to and it did post once. But it has never posted again since. I have added a few more rss feeds (4 total) and none are posting. I have tried the fake cron, I have tried running cron from my server, I have also tried loading the cronrss.php from my browser, none work. for the cron on the server I have tried:
/usr/lib/php -q /home/****/public_html/forums/cronrss.php and /usr/bin/wget -O - -q or this: !/usr/lib/cgi-bin/php -q
I just adjusted the cron to send me cron emails and I got this: /bin/sh: /usr/lib/php: is a directory

Can we put the original link to the end or beginning of the post? This is to avoid the copyright issue. And also, because sometimes the original post contains the contact information of the poster. For example, every post end with words: Link from: http://the_url_to_the_original_topic

I'm sorry for posting so many times in this thread but I've found a solution that is working well for me. I have all my feeds going into one particular board and I've designated that board as the recycle board for deleted topics (you do this in admin>forum>boards>settings) This keeps the feed posts from showing in 'show unread' post list and in the 'recent posts' list
It's the only solution for this problem?

I'm having an issue that the Mod isn't getting the full posts from RSS, even though when I load the feed in a regular RSS Reader, it pulls down the whole post. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi, I just installed RSS Feed Poster and now I get
"The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request. The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log. "
any ideas on how I get it out and get smf back up and running?

Haven't seen that happen before. I would check the file permissions on all the files.
If not grab a backup of your files from packages/backups

Hello, great mod but I'm having a problem after moving to a new server. The forum is up and running fine but when I run the cronrss.php I get
Board structure corrupt: unable to find parent board
what's weird is I got this same error on the old server but the feeds still posted, so not sure if that's even related.
any ideas?
thanks, Joe

Recheck all your feeds that you have entered.
Mostly like what happened you deleted a board that a feed was posting to.

thanks, this makes sense for the error message.
however the old server gave the same error yet still posted to the feeds that did an active board listed.
the forum is now on a cpanel server and acts like it's working but the feeds aren't posted to the boards.
any ideas where to look?

First make sure you update to the latest version of RSS Feed Poster and see if that helps.
