Hi,

I currently use my paypal IPN for the Paid Subscription section on SMF. Is there any way to run a 2nd IPN which I can assign to SMF Shop?

Yes you do not have to change your paypal settings the shop will auto use a second ipn url that step is just used to make sure that you have IPN enabled.
