I'm setting up my store and trying to add in workarounds for shipping issues I'm having. I've had to add in "products" that add to the shipping price for international customers.
The problem is, now all of my recent products are these shipping charges. How can I make them go to the bottom, so they never show up as recent products? I tried going into the database to adjust the creation date, but no luck there. What can I do?

This would be a little tricky you have added new products which would be considered a recent product.

The order is by the Product ID column and I would not change that column since that would cause issues .

If there is a date column I could give some code to change the order by to date instead of the ID.
