I would try the latest version added one change for how permissions are checked. Other than that I haven't been able to reproduce the issue.

plenty of people are reproducing the issue, I posted this on a post by someone else having the same problem, so it's not isolated. I have tried every latest version for almost a year and it has never sorted this. I'm having to email people downloads from my site, which kind of defeats the purpose of having a download system at all. I have almost a thousand mebers now and can't be emailing them all day with downloads they should be able to just get from the site
I'll try this new version abd see what happens.

The main issue here is I can't fix it if I can't reproduce the error. I can make guesses but that is as close as I can get.

I can't fix it either though. What have you done to help the others that have had this issue? Or are they still plodding on like me? It's really frustrating.
It's several times a day now it's happening, people are attempting to download 20 times or so and keep getting sent to that log in page. I've installed the latest version and will let you know if it helps.
I keep double checking my permissions but everyone except guests are allowed to download, no problems there.

One other person told them to try my last fix and it is included in the last update. Never heard anything back assumed it worked.

There was someone else a while back but I couldn't find that thread. It doesn't matter for now, I will wait to see what happens with this update
