SMF Hacks..

I just had a few members ask me if was possible to one click with a mouse on a BB Code box so they can just simply paste the link to the photo in a thread?  A fuction similar to photobucket where you can like on the link and it auto copies it. 

Not sure that is even possible but wanted to ask.

I don't know Java at all but are saying it is possible when in the gallery to set a java script on an individual pc or on the server to do that function?

Ok, pretend I am a 9th grader...and dumb this down for me     can you get into a little more detail or give me something to tell the users?

It would work the same way you are describing in the first. Click on on direct link text box or bb code textbox on the view picture and it would copy to the clipboard.

Ok, but how do you tell that command to work for that text box or any text boxes like that in a browser?

Those are plugins they won't work unless you have the user install them. So I doubt most users would and they would also have to have firefox.
