I would contact your host and ask them to increase php file upload limits for your site to around 32mb that should fix that issue as well.

I asked my host to up the php file size to 32 but they will only go to 16. I don't really have an option of switching hosts because of the price I'm getting. Is there another way we can get this working??

That should fix then if the size is increased. Otherwise you might be hitting a memory limit I would try uploading files and see if it is a size issue or not.

Sorry for the delay... haven't had a computer for a couple moons now...

We had memory increased... php increased... storage increased....

The largest photo that can be uploaded at this time is maybe a 500kb photo. It use to work uploading some really large photos well over the 3mb and the system ran fine at the time. But since the update I can get it to work.

Please by all means log onto the forum again and try a large photo then you can see. You should still have my login information. Unless you delete your inbox a lot.

Try renaming .htaccess forum in the root of your forum and see if that helps. Not sure what else would cause that other than memory/file limists

i actually don't have an .htaccess file.... server won't allow one to start with.

I just tried a larger photo and got that error page to show. I hit refresh... it goes back to the gallery but shows an error saying I must enter a title. I know I have entered a title.... maybe that can help you out.

That normally happens when you go over the file upload limit the php setting.
For the 500 errors i would check your error log usally in the control panel in cpanel and might give more details.

I have lots of errors on a favicon.ico

would that cause this to give an error? It says it isn't there... checked the path and no there isn't one there. Is there suppose to be one?

I posted my log... but I have no idea what some errors mean... I'm not that smart Wink I know the htaccess errors are because I tried that file .htaccess but other than that no idea on the rest.
