First, you cant to imagine how my users like this mod, that a post in the gallery makes a post in the forum where to discuss the picture. I noticed yesterday, that if I am moving a picture from the gallery to a different category, than the post in the forum will not update too and it have still the old category. It is a bug or is there no other way to handle it on the SMF site ?

Not currently built in would be a good feature request.
Currently it will only modify the topic on picture edit or remove the topic if the picture is deleted but will not change the board that it is in.

Sorry that I push up this thread. But if I move manually from one in the other category and than after also on SMF forum site, the picture is now double listed in the gallery. I checked the table smf_gallery_pic but the entry is only one times there ? Both pictures in the category have now the same ID - I searched the whole database for the file but only found 1 time - how can I remove this double entry - If I hit delete than both are gone

For the double entry is that inside a category itself? Or is that on a list all page?
And second if it is a category is a normal category or a user category

The double pictures are in

the category index.php?action=gallery;cat=15

list all pages  index.php?action=gallery;sa=listall;type=recent

but not if I click on my images index.php?action=gallery;sa=myimages;u=4

The category is a normal one and not a User, my Personal Gallery is empty.

The main problem is solved, but I noticed, that there are still double pictures in the search results.

I gave the picture a search word and if I click on it, all pictures with the keyword are displayed but the "moved" one is double listed in the search results.

Added a group by for next update on the search results page to fix the issue.
Next update should come around SMF 2.0 RC4 is released.
