Not sure if I'm missing a setting somewhere or not, but is there a way to prevent adding a listing in a parent category? For instance, let's say my parent category was Sandwiches. Under that category, I might have Peanut Butter and Jelly, Grilled Cheese, and Ham and Cheese.  I only want my users to be able to sell those three sandwiches. Well, if they come in and try selling a Club, they'll just put it in the parent. I don't want any listings inside the parent. Make sense? Now, I'm not selling sandwiches, just an arbitrary example.

An option would be to set the category level permissions on the parent category and deny adding a listing for each membergroup. Click on the permissions link next to the category name to do so.
