This may be related to an Issue I just posted tonight in the Ad support section-

Running Version: 3.0.5

When I and the Administrator of the board create a NEW category in my personal gallery I cannot click the category to get into and add images.

FYI- I do have the video addin installed.

When I click on the newly created category the site just returns the category listing without changing to the new category.

Also- when I try and upload a pic into an older category I get the file size limitation error even though my PHP upload is set @2MB and the file is less than 90K.

Did you change hosts? Or did anything change in your hosting?

No, I actually own the server that it is on- Cpanel, Latest.

It was running an earlier version on the same server. I recently re-upped the sources and reloaded all the mods on  the site. This is a fresh install of Gallery not an upgrade, altho I have been upgrading the previous version(s) for quite a long time trying to keep up,

Good software,,

For file uploads can you upload any files as attachments can you upload the same 90k file as an attachment on the forum.

Code:
When I click on the newly created category the site just returns the category listing without changing to the new category.
This issue worries me since you had something similar for the ad locations I am wondering if is a server/security setting or a url rewrite system that is causing it to go someplace other than it is supposed to.

Hacks,

If it worries you.. I'm intrested..

I just tried to attach the image to a regular forum post.. No Problem...

I can see what you are saying about the rewrite but since this was installed with a previous version without issue Hmm...  I'm wondering if when I 'reset' the forum to default (reupped the sources and default theme directory etc..) I missed something. I can only think to remove all the mods in reverse and install just the gallery and ad mod check for function then build checking on each mod..

Your thoughts?

What does it say exactly when you upload a file to gallery? Like the error if you go over the limit

I can't actually get into the newly created gallery category, when I click on the newly created gallery category it just 'looks' like it refreshes the page and I back where I started.

When uploading to an existing category.. it works now... the limit is 'Picture exceeds max filesize. Max Filesize is 97.66KB' .. I just tried several files over and over.. I'm at a loss.

Pictures under the 100K limit upload fine on a category that is already existing now...

Found the issue-

I had Simple Audio Video Embedder installed... When I removed this mod everything started working without issue. I reinstalled but issue came back.. Upgraded to the latest version 1.07 and still had the same issue. Removed mod for now..

I just saw this on the Gallery Video Plugin..
Changelog
3.5
+Added code from Simple Audio Video Embeder to support over 40+ video sites for embeding inside the gallery

Now- I had the Simple Audio Video Embedder installed and the Gallery Video Addin on my forum... Is there a way to have the embed function for the forum as well as the Gallery?
