When I installed it the content in the header loads on the page below the tabs. Is that how it is supposed to be?

I'd like it to be at the very top of my forum. Thanks.

And what I put in the headers totally through off my third column in my portal. The third column is below it.

Isn't headers and footers supposed to go at the very top and bottom of the site?!

The headers and footers mod adds below the menu tabs/menu links and after the </body> tag
