Okay, so it's not visionary OR genius, but still...

It'd be nice to have an automated system that posts a new topic to a board of the admin's choosing whenever an item is added to the store.

IE:

Subject - (item name)
Message - (item description), followed by a link to the item in the store.


That way it's keeping users updated when things are added for purchase.


This could either be done across the board, or there could be an "Announce item for sale?" checkbox when creating a new product.
