I'm putting SMF Gallery Pro through its paces to test its features (and our configuration) work as expected for our community before an expected rush to use the system in two months time.

We're using SMF 2.0 RC5 with Bloc's Argentum2 theme and the following installed packages:
  • Dream Menu
  • reCAPTCHA for SMF
  • SMF Gallery Pro Recent Profile Images
  • Newsletter Pro
  • SMF Gallery Pro
  • SMF Gallery Pro SSI
  • SMF Gallery Pro - Video AddOn

Under an SMF administrator account and using Firefox 4.x, I went to "Administration Center » Gallery Configuration » Manage Categories » Gallery". From this page, I clicked the "[Regenerate Thumbnails]" link for a category. On the "Regenerate Thumbnails" page, I noted
Quote
Category:     Projects & Artwork
This will regenerate all thumbnails in this category. The sizes used for the thumbnails will be the current thumbnail settings. Could take a while depending on the amount of the pictures in the category. You will be redirected to the category when completed.
Max thumbnail height: 120
Max thumbnail width: 120

Clicking the "Regenerate Thumbnails" button returned a page at lightning speed and none of the thumbnails were changed. (I had specified a different pixel dimension).

There is nothing in the SMF log, there is no entry added to the error log in cPanel, and there's no error_log file in the forum or web root directories. These do get created normally. I simply cleared them before reproducing this issue. They didn't get re-created

The gallery subdir has 775 for permissions. The 0/ and 1/ directories under it also have 775 for perms. All images and thumbnail files are chmod 664. Using SSH shell access, I can see that none of the files have a new modified date/time stamp

Thanks!

Is 3.0.22 backwards compatible for SMF 2.0 RC5 ?
