how about adding this feature?


so that user may also post an item which they want to buy, in the Want  To Buy Section.

and also add a field for area/city/region, in the posting page,  and should also be available as an option for searching items. and the names of the cities or areas shall be configurable from the admin page. this i got from phpfox feature.

and... enhance the search box, that is, search results maybe sort by price, and from what area the item was posted from.

and again... a bookmarking tool to bookmark an item and to bookmark a to a thread/topic post. so the bookmark menu has a topic section and classified section.

a new block for active item for sale section and active want to buy section, with this new block, it should give the ads poster to bump his post, by posting any comment to his own post, that item shall automatically appears in active want to buys or for sale section.

of course, bumping threshold should be controllable from the admin section.



additionally,  in the ad posting page... a drop down menu or radio button or check box should be select for a field called, Item Condition and Warranty. so it's like this..


Item Condition = Select | Brand New | Used |


Warranty = Select |Shop Warranty| Personal Warranty|

i think some of these features is also applicable to SMF Store.

want to add also in the posting page, a field for google map to show where you store or where the item or shop is located

and a field for payment mode, where you can show paypal logo, bank logos if payment thru bank is accepted and etc.

and a field for delivery and shipping mode, where you can also add name and logo of the shipping co.

and an online status if the seller/buyer is online using, yahoo messenger, skype, icq and others. and clicking the logo of text link will open the chat application to initiate the conversation.

a sms alert would be a great feature... if someone buy your item, bid on an item, commented on an item, a buyer/seller sent you a feedback, you will be alerted by sms. i think this requires third party developer. i just thought.

facebook wall update feature...

for instance, a seller has also an account in facebook. he may choose to post automatically, any ads listing he post and any ad listing update made. it automatically posted in his wall.

so when he post a new listing, it will be posted automatically in his wall and friends wall.

and when someone commented in his post from his facebook account it will also be posted in the comment page of his listing in smf.

i hope all of these are doable.
