Haven't seen that before. I use MySQL 5 for all my sites.
What gallery version? And what SMF version?

hi

Gallery:
Your Version: 3.0.3 Latest Version: 3.0.25 Your gallery version is not up to date!

i have checked the sql queries in the scripts, and they all seem fine ( joins via embraced multi-tables)
so, then i do not understand what causes the error, because the error occurs on any page
on the forum, not only the gallery .... is there a way to temporarily disable the plugin for the forum ?

You can turn off view permissions under permissions for the gallery.
What line number was the error?

The gallery does not touch the board index at all unless you have an addon. if that is the case remove the addon but that error message isn't tell me much and looks like it is not correct ""collumn gallery_pic.ID_CAT"  column is not spelled right. and I don't know the file name or the line number.

no i do not use any of those, the only thing i did was changing the settings.php file, and when it is using the database
the error occurs, is there some kind of debug mode to output all mysql queries ? perhaps i should hack a little output into smf ....

i am wondering as well why it is using the gallery for the index page, didnt had time to make any further tests, hope to grab some time on upcoming weekend

There is a forums error log and a setting you can add to your settings.php file but dont' remember it offhand.

hi there, just to keep you informed:

the problem was with an own skript i added to the gallery, where i use banners uploaded to the gallery to show on main page, in this sql query i didnt confer to the mysql5 braces syntax that made the query stop ....

so, it had something to do with the gallery, but it wasnt in the core ... i was just mislead by interpreting the database tables...
