Hey, I would like to know what would happen to the gallery is I upgrade my forum software from 1.1.14 to 2.0 Gold?

Will all my images and categories disappear?

Will I have to uninstall the gallery before upgrading?

Will everything remain the same if I go ahead with the upgrade (tables don't ruin etc.)

Has anyone done this?

Yes you can easily upgrade. Just download the latest package and then install it.

For your forum i would really think about what you gain vs time spent upgrading. You have  a really nice site with a lot of custom features which would take a while to update/get working again. Part of the reason why I will not be upgrading this site any time soon.

Maybe option would be to get a custom design made if you do not like the theme that maybe an option. Or contacting the author for the 2.0 theme to port it to 1.1.x

Indeed, I just don't know who to talk to you, are custom banners and themes expensive?

Banners not so much $25 to $50.  a theme probably ranges $100 to $300 depending on how much work is involved.
