Hi

One of our users is generating multiple errors in pairs like this

http://www.xxxx.com/forum/index.php?action=gallery;sa=bulk2;catid=106;usercatid=0;sesc;procookie=nnnnnnnnnn;ajax=1

8: Undefined index: GPSLatitude

 File: /xxxxx/public_html/forum/Sources/Gallery2.php
 Line: 7948
    .......
 Type of error: Undefined

http://www.xxxx.com/forum/index.php?action=gallery;sa=bulk2;catid=106;usercatid=0;sesc;procookie=nnnnnnnn;ajax=1

8: Undefined index: GPSLongitude

 File: /xxxxxx/public_html/forum/Sources/Gallery2.php
 Line: 7949

Any ideas what might be causing this? The user is on a Mac using Safari.

Thanks

Looks like the picture contained GPS information in the exif data but for some reason was missing those two fields.

I'll have get hold of some of the original images to check the EXIF data. The ones uploaded to the gallery have been resized in the bulk upload process and don;t seem to have retained the EXIF info in the image(old bug fixed in 3.0.6?)

I've obtained one of the irignal fphotos that are causing this error. The camera used was a Canon EOS 5D Mark II which is capable of recording GPS info if the right extra hardware is used. This camera doesnt have this info but the EXIF data in the images includes this reference

<exif:GPSVersionID>2.2.0.0</exif:GPSVersionID>

Removing this one line from the exif data stops the error occuring when uploading the file via bulk upload, however the exif data is still being stripped from the uploaded, resized copy.

Any ideas how to resolve these problems? I can clear the errors manually but it is  abit of a pain.

Thanks.
That seems to have fix the errors message(including ones created when selecting Reprocess ALL EXIF in admin). However the exif data is stil not being recorded in the uploaded image. This does not occur with images from other cameras that I have tried. I'll try andf investigate this further later when I havew bit more time.

1. Fixed posted update in
http://www.smfhacks.com/index.php/topic,5930.msg26339.html#msg26339

2. Set the related images number to 0 if you are not using it under settings to remove that error.
