Hi, sorry to bother you folks.

I feel like somewhere along the like I heard about or saw an option to add store items to the overall forum's "Search" feature.

Am I just totally stupid?

If I am just totally stupid, then I'd like to suggest being able to add store items to the Search feature. Heh.


That way when people search "Toaster", they see toasters for sale at the top, and threads containing the word "toaster" below... etc.

Would require some work but I have done something similar with the gallery system. Involves a fulltext search with a lookup table to break down the title into searchable chunks.

Ahh, good to know I wasn't just missing the checkbox to enable it.

Yeah, consider that a "suggestion" for a future version, I guess? Smiley

I put a search box on the main page of my site using SMF's SSI - but people are using it to search for products instead of posts, so here we are. XD
