Hi,

I am getting a large number of multiple-entries of the same classified ad as user do not seem to realize that after placing the first photo they should not press the "place ad" button again. Some people enter their ad up to ten times before realizing what is going on.

Would it be rude to ask if the UI can be changed (improved) in a future version to make it more clear to users how to walk through the place ad/place picture functions? Perhaps on a single screen and returning them to the index instead of their ad entry with another "place ad" button on the bottom?

PS: Great software, nothing but cudoes! Don't read this the wrong way Wink

I could add a session check if you submitted the same post twice.

I am still a little confused on how they are adding the listing multiple times. Are they hitting their back button and going to the add listing page

I have no idea how they are doing it, I just see 10-20 double or mutliple ads per day. No doubt some user are complete m_r_ns Wink but there must be some kind of loophole as it is very frequent.

i haven't notice this... well, i thinks smfhacks already did a fixed for this.

in my opinion, i think smfhacks should focus in augmenting the functions and features...

GUI and design is second in priority.  Wink

YOU ROCK!!!!!  Grin

It works perfect!!!

I played with it a little and noticed when you select a photo and press "submit ad" and it turns out to be too big, you are redirected back to the previous screen to add a photo and the same button "submit ad". I think this is where people were going wrong. Your 2.0.4 solved it!

@Cosmicx: GUI is very important, I have to manually delete around 20 ads per day because of this, besides the neusance it also spams the boards with the same add. I am VERY happy that SMFhacks took this little issue seriously and spent time to help me (and maybe others).

Many thanks to SMFhacks...!!!
