I have the SMF installed for the car club, and I have one idea that I think it is not useful only me but it will useful for many sites. There are a lot of car clubs using SMF.

Features
User
- Allow member to book the time of another person (who defined as Provider member group). Member fill-in the booking form, submit, then the new topic post to the target board.
- Notify to provider when there is the new request
- Provider can response "Confirm (with comment)" or "Decline (with comment)"
- If decline, the the topic is locked.
- If confirm, the requester will be notified, the event "Service:" add to calendar to show every one same as what SMF is showing for birthday
- After confirm, provider will see following buttons to press as reply of the topic; Check-in, 25% progress, 50% progress, 75% progress, 100% progress, Cleaning, Completed. Each click will add new picture to the reply
- Once the Completed is post -> Requester is notified
- Once completed, requester will see following buttons to click and submit; feedback 1, feed back 2, feedback 3, etc... each feedback item has the radio buttons as choices.

Admin
- Admin can define the description of feedback item, can delete the topic
- Admin can set the permission who can (create, view, delete, lock) the post
- Admin can fill-in target board' ID to use forum message board as service booking list
- Admin configure the picture for Check-in, 25%, 50%...., Completed (similar to emotion icons)
- Admin can config how the topic's title will displayed in the message list. (similar to customs form mod does)

At the moment we do not have the time build that mod.

I think the easiest way is, to make the new theme inherits from current theme but difference messageIndex and display template and separate emotion icon pack. Start from modify the "custom form mod" and hacks the smf calendar.

Unfortunately, I have never start making mod from scratch, it take a lot of time for me to start.

Anyone know any freelancer, or if there is anyone want to share the cost with me, please message to me.
I have more idea to me the system look flexible, not only for Car club, but also it helpful for other forum too. Let's think if you open the education website, you would like tutor and member able to create and see the appointment via web and it is good marketing to show the tutoring class on the calendar. also good for dating website, gamer website (for competition), tourist and guide website, pet lover forum, etc.

However, to hire freelancer in open market, it may cost about $600 or more. I have my own budget only $150.

I need 3 more webmaster who like to have this feature to share cost to me... please let me know if you have the same need.

PS: there also possible to have free version and premium version, the premium version allows to book in time slot, nicer messageIndex, not limit number of feedback, email notify before the appointment time, and possibility to create printable version of booking form, etc.

I think my idea very similar to SMF Gallery, so SMFHacks may finish it in short time. Only make the post in difference stage and use difference reply-form for each stage of the post.
