Tried SMF as I thought they could help, they have suggested it is not a fault of theirs but something to do with Classified script.

I don't know what you changed in the file but it has broken the template in IE, test site set up to find the problem, pm me for URL.

That is caused by the portal block since there is not enough room to show all the information. Now you do have settings under Layout Settings in the classifieds admin which will allow you to hide columns that you do not needed.
