would be nice if you could show me how or add
max upload filesize base on membergroup

and

an effective way to prevent people from hotlinking the file (not with guest download disabled)
i have enabled hotlinking protection in htaccess, but it doesn't work because the direct link format doesn't end with extension
http://******/index.php?action=downloads;sa=downfile&id=4;t=1327193907
and when someone enter it from somewhere else, it will redirect him to the download which makes the htaccess think he is on my site

1. There is a global max file size for users. For membergroups you have total space that user can upload per membergroup under file space manager


2. Hotlinks you can disable if you have guests disabled from downloading. Then only members could get files.

1,i know i can set total space for membergroup but still would like to see a upload max size for membergroup

2,i don't want to disable guest downloads, i have stated it in my post
any other way can prevent that?

2, i have already tried htaccess (stated in my post)
i doubt other way: php etc will work in this case (download link doesn't end with extension)
