Hey guys, well got a question. We've got download system pro installed on the fourm of ours, however lately when people upload bigger fiel sizes, such as 170mb to our site they see the error that says "unable to find server informations" just wondering what this means. When it does that it just stops the upload as well, now we tried to upload smaller files like 2mb and they did upload, we got the same error, but they did upload. On the other side people have been trying to download files as well and they never seem to get the whole file, i havent had this issue, but many have. just wondering what this error means and how to fix it. or would this be a issue with our host? Also when i go to upload the new downloads package do i just upload it or do i have to uninstall the older version first then upload this new version? and will i loose all my downloads? Im also ashamed and wondering if this has something to do with my problem....i have download system lite still installed with pro installed over it, i cant uninstall lite as it comes up with a error and says not to uninstall....sorry just a noob here guys  Tongue Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.  Smiley

You are probably reaching some kind of connection limit either on the filesize or your webserver is timing out.
I have a topic on increasing those settings which can be found at
http://www.smfhacks.com/index.php/topic,3498.0.html

For new versions of the download system you do not have to uninstall but if you are doing 2.1 from 2.0 I would suggest it since we added a new permission.

Uninstalling does not delete download or data that is all saved in the database and the downloads folder.

Lite over Pro. I would suggest attaching your Sources/ManagePermissions.php to make sure you have all update permissions in there.

Should be ok. Gallery Lite only adds like a button in the index.template.php of the default theme in SMF 1.1.x
