Very rare I use the Gallery on my website but I have just attempted to upload a Zip file but there is no way of doing so, is there something missing from my installation?

Zip is not supported as upload file type for the gallery.

Umm, it is a standard item in other galleries, how come it is not included in SMF Gallery?

Never built it. Would require the webhosting environment to have a zip module installed. And I don't know it would work unless it was just bulk uploads.

Zip files can get extremely tricky since users can have multiple folders and files inside a zip file.

If enough people request I could look into adding it.

+Added processing of zips in bulk upload requires zip extension/builtin with php
